Cristina Abati – Angela Burico
Mermaids on a Dolphin’s Back

11 – 16 November 2019

Two women, two designated posts, two islands of the same archipelago, now in deep fog, then stormy. The body – in its inner space and in the relationship with the outside – produces the sound, and the sound informs the dynamics of the body.
Dialoguing voices generate liquid bodies pouring into anthropomorphic, abstract figures that vary their genders and their limits.

Margherita Landi
Tu-torial

28 October – 02 November 2019
06 November 2019 at 5 pm, audience by invitation

Tu-torial is a project intending to investigate the relationship between body and technology. We selected scenes from movies by Jim Jarmusch and we present movements decontextualized from their original stories; such movements – based on pure corporeality – turn into dance.

Marta Bellu – Donato Epiro
Where Else?

04, 19, 20 October 2019
25 – 30 March 2019

The work investigates language as the place for the appearance of space. The body connects with events and it gets included, inhabited and experienced by those very events. The movement transmutes in an attempt to have the words articulated while occupying the ever-changing forms it produces. Within the form, occupying is a wave movement that includes a savage impulse.

Greta Francolini
Ritornello

18 – 22 March 2019

Starting from William Basinski’s The Disintegration Loops – a composition whose structure is the reiteration of a sound sample – the choreographer deals with the concept of “repetition”, reproducing a frame of mind and pushing it to the edge. The shift from Basinski music to pop songs make something happen, the body knows that something has changed and it gets accepted as a matter of fact.

Annamaria Ajmone
No Rama

11 – 22 February 2019

No Rama is an inhabited place. Here different species can live, thrive and reproduce. Human bodies crumble into celestial bodies; they turn into plants, animals, and minerals. No Rama is a (visionary) investigation on the future of our planet; its ecosystem is able to adapt itself to global warming, land desertification and the ongoing acidification of surface waters. Between science and fiction, No Rama is just one of the many possibilities.
