Body To Be 2022
Body To Be
corpi presenze alleanze
project Kinkaleri | in collaboration with Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci | as part of Toscanaincontemporanea2022 – Giovanisì – Regione Toscana | with the support of spazioK.Kinkaleri
Body To Be 2022 opens to relation, in an attempt to create a special tension in the physical experience and the proximity among bodies, as a place of contemplation and condivision. The project intends to build a path open to experience, through the research of two artists who conceive their own performing works as practices of coexistence. Michele Di Stefano opens up to a wide non-exclusive community of people, whose aim is to live the space with the body, to immerse themselves in pure happening, building possible temporary alliances. Michele Rizzo proposes a practice that connects two performers together through a common state of necessity, despite dealing with different time-space perceptions.
Piscina Mirabilis
November 9, 2022 – 6 PM – Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato
concept Michele Di Stefano/mk
An eternally nascent state. The latest project of the mk company – led by Michele Di Stefano – is a temporary environment created with the desire to intercept (not exclusively) an expanded community of dancers, actors, athletes. Figures and bodies that are projected on the scene – not necessarily from a professional point of view – to search for an individuality in movement, in pure dynamic expression. The scene becomes an unexpectedly everyday place, not preordained, in search of a possible alliance with the bodies that inhabit it. Piscina Mirabilis creates a time and a space that precedes any formal, design or artistic result, with the only certainty of being surrounded by bodies with the same potential, in a free cohabitation always aware of the environment in which it evolves. Arbitrary nonchalance of a physical intensity not yet programmable.
Free workshop upon registration. To sign up it is necessary to write an email to info@kinkaleri.it
Field Interlace
November 25, 2022 – 6 PM – Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato
concept Michele Rizzo
The starting point of the project comes from a movement practice that builds two collective time-space structures that are mutually dependent. The research focuses on an interstitial space, infinitely small and fragile, difficult to reach and yet unequivocal in its perception, to the point of becoming extremely powerful. A space that wants to bond two or more individuals in a most extreme relationship, relatable to a fusion or a splitting, where both those terms express a coexistence of singularity and multiplicity. The intention is to deal with the details and peculiarities of that interstice; first, from the point of view of the own essence, given by the contact between the bodies, then from a potential point of view, which is tridimensional, creative, dramatic.
A call is planned to choose some performers to take part in a workshop aimed at creating the performance.
