Hit Parade is conceived as a Conference / Show for young students. The show explores early twentieth century and the connections between the disciplines of the artistic Avant-gardes, with a focus on the transformation of classical ballet into that of modernist, futurist and Dadaist derivation: Russian Ballets and Swedish Ballets which, along with their protagonists, were the forerunners of contemporary performance.
The lines of investigation of Hit Parade are, on the one hand, the informative conference and, on the other hand, the very object of disclosure, that is, choreography and dance. Hence the historiographical and interpretative collaboration with Duccio Brinati, dancer of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino was born.
The other reference of the work is provided directly by the web research: a large screen placed behind the dancer-lecturer acts as a continuous reference to the words and actions of the performer, with the rhythms of those who search for the materials of a topic on the internet. The speech is structured as a complete, loose and organized form, presenting characters and historical choreographies, until the final battle, where the performance explodes seeking the complicity and action of the public.
