Digital project for the promotion and training of the public dedicated to the second cycle of primary and middle schools, created through the use of the web platform supplied to individual schools.
all’INFERNO is an online project for primary and middle schools, conceived as a physical and interactive journey articulated on different levels. The workshop/show proposes an exploration of Dante’s Inferno through physical exercises, to encourage that sense of wonder contained in this extraordinary story, which has become famous throughout the world.
The first part of the work is closer to the languages of the scene: here some general notions on the figure of Dante, the historical and cultural context and the geography of the journey are addressed. The second part discloses the direct experience of the body, dragging the kids into a game of physical copying and continuous reinvention of the gesture as an active moment of the meeting. The “bench-stage” welcomes with marked realism the different infernal punishments and their relation with bodies, until arriving at a fast pace in a daring dance in HELL (all’INFERNO).
700 years after the death of the so called “Supreme Poet”, father of the Italian language and cornerstone of European literature, the possibility of exciting and involving the young public in this great journey of transformation remains alive, a way to generate innovation starting from tradition.
