A body attempting to imitate and to reproduce itself, doubled in its own image. There’s no possible plan or process that allows to re-measure in sequence the oneself decisions. Before is not now any more and now is not ever. The contraction of a moment that is lost by now, belonging to nobody. There’s nothing left but accept ourselves as self-unfaithful and dash off into an exhausting pasodoble, one-off. Description: in an empty room, a person in front of a camera on a tripod, plays a 5 minutes improvisation on a music chosen by chance from a portable radio frequency. Then she connects the camera to a monitor repeating the movement phrase in real time, learning it by memory. The duration is determined by the necessary learning time, approximately one hour long. The improvised movement is converted into a choreographic composition.
